What's it about, you might ask?
Well, it is the story of a prince who through sorrow and pain found power.

Once upon an endless time, in a faraway land, the son of a royal family was born. He had a magnificent aura about him so his parents named him Regulus. He was loved throughout the kingdom for his unique, equal doses of femininity and masculinity. He grew up sensitive and brave but darkness was about to hit the kingdom. An evil witch came to know about this special boy since she was interested in understanding how she could replicate such feminine and masculine features in human beings, so she broke into the palace to try and steal him away. The king and the queen, who loved Regulus so very much, fought hard to save him until their last breath and they perished on the spot in the battle against the witch. Regulus, who was only 14 at the time yet very athletic and impulsive, jumped on her with unprecedented wrath, and the witch perished before his eyes. He had actually won yet he suddenly realised he was an orphan now and felt there was nothing left for him. But he would soon find out who he really was. Every following night, anger and grief lulled him to sleep until one special night an angel flew onto the palace balcony and landed on his bed; her name was Miss Music. She had a soft gaze and vigorous hands, a shiny golden robe and a smell of roses all around her. She spoke to Regulus whilst he was asleep and told him that the only way for him to let go of his pain was to write about it; that the only way for his parents not to have died in vain, was for him to live his pain fully and to transform it into meaningful melodies so that the kingdom itself could be inspired, towards a better place.
Regulus rejected this idea at first as he did not want his pain to be of public domain. But then he started pondering: that just like he was inspired by his parents, and the colourful butterflies of the meadows and the kind hearts of the villagers in the kingdom, he too could inspire someone else in need, especially since he always knew about his special, inner light.
So he began: he opened his pandora’s box and life rushed out.
Every morning he would rule his kingdom as best as he could and at night, he would dress up as anything he fancied and jumped on his horse, riding throughout the lands, singing his pain away and wailing his joy to the wind and the stars.
People were being awakened night after night from their dreams and they would say: “Hark!”
“The Prince of Fire is about! The Red Prince is here!”

Yes, he is here indeed.
Life is an intense fairytale and this EP is the prologue of my life. I hope you can appreciate the choice of sounds and lyrics that I created with the help of my friend and composer Future Humans.
